Remarks: I love Jero knives! I own 5 of them. This one is great for slicing brisket, bread, and anything else that needs slicing. I liked it so much I bought my brother-in-law one.

Remarks: I have just about any knife one might need in the kitchen, but a meat slicer. When I use my butcher knife on a roast, it just falls to pieces. So, I am hoping this is an improvement. I also realized why I never added one. This knife if big! It makes my large butcher knife look small. It is just under a foot and a half including the handle. It is perfect for slicing big slabs of meat. Let cooked meat rest for 20-30 minutes before slicing so that the meat retains its moisture. Raw meat – chilled, barely frozen meat is easier to slice thin than meat right out of the refrigerator. I sliced a rotisserie chicken tonight into nice, thin beautiful slices. It is carbon steel. Do not put it in the dishwasher. Carbon steel is the best material for knives. Great knife. I am very happy with it.

Remarks: This 12-inch Serrated Concavo Slicer is absolutely PERFECT for slicing breads, as well as other things but I NEEDED a long bread slicer. I needed a bread knife long enough to trim crusts off bread loaves so they would leave the surface smooth, with no jagged marks that would be left by a shorter blade. This knife has a handle with a comfortable grip, easy to hold and very responsive. Extremely sharp, cut through the fairly hard crust of this pumpernickel loaf without hesitation. This should be a real work horse in the home or commercial kitchen.
