MCC Blade Guard (12.5" x 2.25")

Mad Cow Cutlery blade guards protect your knife's edge when storing. Blade guards also help reduce accidental cuts when reaching for a knife. If you store your knives in a case, blade guards help prevent slices to the inside of your case. 

Mad Cow Cutlery blade guards are constructed of commercial grade polymers that are textured for added grip. Polymer guards are impact and temperature resistant.  The inside of the guards are lined with a felt like material that assists in the placement and removal of the guard, by allow the blade to glide in and out easier. The soft material also helps reduce scratching to the blade (note: some blades scratch easier than others, and by using any type of guard, you could get light surface scratches). Our guards also have an entry notch to help get the guard on easier.

To place the guard on the knife, we recommend placing the heel of the blade in first, then rotate forward until the guard is on. To remove, lift the handle and the heel of the knife out first.  Before using the guard, wash and dry your knife completely.
