The JERO 3-Piece Fishing Set was designed as an entry level fishing knife set for
smaller fish processing at the river, lake, camp or cabin. The set includes a 6" curved
fillet knife with polymer handle; a 4" small trimming knife that also works well for slicing
up vegetables and fruit; a Batil brand fishing shear; a JERO koozie to keep your drink
cold and a storage case. The knife blades are constructed of high-carbon stainless
steel sourced in Europe. The handles are constructed of durable commercial grade
polymers that are impact and temperature resistant, and colored as to no blend in with
the natural environment, making them easy to spot. The handles are injection molded
onto the blade and tang for added strength. The Batil shear is constructed of heavy-duty stainless steel and was designed for fishing and seafood. The blade has a
serrated section on the side of the blade near the edge to help grip slippery cutting
surfaces, and has a center section that can be used to twist off caps; crack seafood, or
even crack some nuts. They work well as fin snips. Knives are manufactured by JERO,
and the shear is manufactured by Batil, one of the largest and best known European
manufacturers of commercial grade shears and scissors. The set finally comes with a
JERO koozie and the carrying pouch. All products, except the koozie are made in
Portugal. Knives come with a lifetime guarantee against defects in materials and/or
workmanship, when used as designed. Misuse and abuse is not covered.
