The F. Dick Multicut flat steel is a multi-purpose steel for the busy butcher or chef. The steel features wide grooves down the length of the steel allowing for extra grinding when strong pressure is applied. The rest of the steel features a fine cut--meaning it isn't perfectly smooth or polished, but rather features really fine grooves running the length of the steel, which are only visible when viewed up close. With light pressure the edge of the blade can be straightened and honed. The steel represents the quality work F. Dick is known for. F. Dick steels are considered the best in the world.

"Fdick multi cut - worth the price!"

Remarks: Adjusting from a normal steel to the multi cut can take a day or two but once the transition is made it’s well worth it! It’s heavy if you carry it on your hip, but I adjusted to that in just a day also. Shipping was fast and everything was packaged well.

Remarks: As great as everyone says. Not cheap, but really good tools never are. You will have to be very young too live long enough wear this out.
