Friedr. Dick was founded in 1778 in Esslingen, Germany and is still family owned. F. Dick is known for their quality products made in Germany. Unlike other well-known German knife manufacturers that will have certain models made in other countries to cut costs, F. Dick products are all German made--meaning that even the entry level lines are made in Germany under the same quality assurance as the higher priced models.

Remarks: Awesome knife I love the deep edge over the Victorinox knife's shallower edge, nice weight and ergonomic. Extremely sharp and cuts with ease. I like these slightly better than Victorinox
