Friedr. Dick cutting boards were designed for the commercial environment. Constructed in Germany to meet the high standards of quality imposed by F. Dick. Boards are constructed of high density poly ethylene for long lasting durability and strength. Each board has a groove cut along the outer edge to capture juices, preventing the juices from contaminating areas around the board. The boards also feature anti-skid stoppers at each corner of the bottom portion of the board. These round, soft rubber stoppers help prevent the cutting board from sliding during use.
Colored cutting boards serve many uses. First, they are great for product separation. Use a different color for each different product to help reduce the chances of cross-contamination. Different colored boards can be assigned to different departments--the front counter sales area could be one color, and the kitchen another.
White cutting boards have been the traditional color. Stains and food residues are easily spotted on white boards, making it easier to keep them visibly clean. If your cooking areas use colored boards for product separation, then the white boards are usually designated for use with pastry products.
Red cutting boards are usually designated for use with red meats.
Yellow colored boards are usually designated for use with poultry products--though the color is popular with the outdoor crowd needing utensils that have a high visibility.
Blue cutting boards are ideal for use with fish.
Green is used for vegetables.
Brown cutting boards are for use with cooked foods.
Marble colored boards can be used for other items, such as cheese, candy, ice-cream cakes or other pastry products.
F. Dick cutting boards were manufactured for high impact and warp resistance.
